It is mainly this theme “Sport for All – for Life” that the 12th World Sport for All Congress will be discussing in November 2008 in Genting Highlands, Malaysia.

12th World Sport for All Congress 2008
 Maj. Gen. Charouck Arirachakaran, Secretary General & Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand and Secretary General of the SEA Games Federation presented the Official Invitation of the 24th SEA Games to Y.Bhg. Datuk Dr. M. Jegathesan, Deputy President of OCM, on 12th July 2007 at 10.30 a.m. at Wisma OCM.

12th World Sport for All Congress 2008
The International Olympic Committee awarded the 12th World Sport for All Congress 2008, to the Olympic Council of Malaysia at the IOC Executive Board Meeting held in Seoul, Korea, from 6th & 7th April 2006. The 12th World Sport for All Congress 2008, will be held in Genting Highlands, Malaysia from 3rd to 6th November 2008, with the Main Theme "SPORT FOR ALL - FOR LIFE
